Lots of great stuff here. I continue to love Charlie Stross, but wish his writing had tighter editing.
Widow's House is the fourth Dagger and Coin book. When it came out, I'd forgotten so much stuff about the series, so I re-read the previous three books (not included here). Re-reading revealed some hidden excellences, which was nice.

I loved spending some quality time with Orwell. His essay on Tolstoy & Shakespeare makes me especially happy.
Money by Eric Lonergan is fantastic. Clever, short, opinionated, thought-provoking. Get the second edition, which is updated for the Euro crisis.
Comics
I got a subscription to Marvel Unlimited, which means I've been reading an awfully large number of comics. Mostly the Civil War event, various things in the Hulk corpus, and Ed Brubaker's Daredevil.
Speaking of Ed Brubaker, Jolie bought a bunch of comics from Amazon. One of them, Velvet, is by Mr Brubaker and is well done spy thriller. Highly recommended.
